Muslim men can give divorce to their wifes, simply by telling “Talaq-Talaq-Talaq”
continuously. As per studies the divorce rate among the muslims is very low,
when compared to the other aspects of India. As of now, divorce is becomming a
trend in India which is not suitable to Indians culture and nature. We Indians
who used live in big families and develop our relationship with others,
including neighbours and colleagues is getting continuous change from inspiring
by the western culture.
Triple Talaq bill is going to replace the ordinance that was
issued by the Central Government, in September, banning the Triple Talaq in
India.
The new Triple Talaq Bill aims to make the practice of
instant triple talaq among Muslims, that it is an offence under the Indian
Penal Code act (IPC), with the provision of three years jail for the husband in
such cases.
Mean while, BJP issued a Whip to it’s members in Loksabha
that Triple Talaq bill is will be coming for discussion and it is to be voted
likely on December 27.
Whip states that Members of Parliament of the BJP party
should be present in the House and must participate in the voting. Violators of
the Whip to be punished according to the disciplainary actions of the party.
