The Hit Man will to miss the fourth Test in Sydney, starting
3rd January 2019.
Rohit Sharma had scored a crucial half-century in the first
innings of the Melbourne Test against Australia, which India won by 137 runs to
retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Hit Man tied the knot
with Ritika on 13 December 2015.
Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika have welcomed their first
child. Ritika has given birth to a baby girl on Sunday in Mumbai. Rohit
Sharma will not be part of India's Playing XI for the fourth and final Test
against Australia as was already on his way back to India when the girl was
born.
Rohit had shared his
excitement about the additional to his family in an interview with the Michael
Clarke.
Rohit said :- "I cannot wait to be a father. It is
going to be a game changing moment in our lives and I am eagerly awaiting for the
moment of becoming a father. It will be a moment to change our life".
